This is a project designed for an electric welding machine, created as a proposal for NLG Company. The client's theme was based on a Cyberpunk style. I appreciate the client's willingness to provide such an interesting theme, which let me boldly create intriguing designs during the initial stages of the project. Although this design was not selected due to the client's cost considerations, I still completed the project.

For this project, I used Artificial Intelligence to boost my work. Saving time in conceptualizing details and producing unexpected outputs. and combined with my own practical experience in industrial design to complete the design.
I would also like to thank the factory and mechanical teams for evaluating the feasibility of the design and providing useful suggestions.

*This project is allowed to reveal according to the agreement. Cause the design didn't make it to the market, and to prevent any confusion, I changed the logo.
Theme background
In the world of Cyberpunk, there is an exploration of a unique fusion: Eastern culture and elements interweave within the futuristic fantasy cityscape. On the streets, you are immersed in a scene of striking contrasts: dark alleyways intertwining with vibrant colors, portraying the profound diversity of this world. As you walk along these streets, neon-lit Hanzi signs catch your eye, resembling a modern calligraphic art of the digital age, as if interpreting the unique linguistic symbols of this future society.
However, these streets are not merely a visual feast. They exude an ambiance of industrial mechanics, evoking thoughts of a highly mechanized world extending from the future. This environment adds a cool yet captivating aesthetic to the city, immersing people in a technological illusion. In this world, themes of electronic minds, mechanical bodies, artificial intelligence, and more are intricately woven together, shaping an unprecedented technological society.


Having gathered reference materials, I have decided to incorporate three key elements into my design:
1. Industrial machinery (wildly imaginative forms)

Keywords
cyberpunk, fantasy world, sci-fi, raining, futuristic, night, strong, tough, muscle
2. High saturation color (eye-catching)
3. Hanzi characters (unique linguistic symbols)
The theme is called Ying-Han serise and inspired by Chinese language. the meaning of Ying-Han(硬漢) in Chinese is tough guy.
the welding in Chinese is (Han)焊, both characters have the same pronunciation “Han”. 
Therefore I decided to combine together to become “硬焊”(Ying-Han). Used the meaning of tough, 
welding as the theme for the new product.





Used Artificial Intelligence assists to generate inspiration BY Stable Diffusion.
I drew some drafts of the enclosure outline. And used Artificial Intelligence tool(Stable Diffusion) to help me explore the enriching detail of the cyberpunk style. After AI creates some ideas. I tried to converge ideas according to the produce feasibility.





Through practical working experience, and evaluate the produce feasibility to build the 3D model.
Built 3D model according to the PCBA placement, thermal condition, molding feasibility, and other important conditions.
eg. the distance between the ground and the product. the clearance of interior space. the reasonable airflow.etc
I also considered the user experience. The handles should be the proper size for grabbing. and the finish of plastic parts should be an Anti-slip function. 
Make sure the surfaces of the 3D model are all good with G2 continuity, the average plastic thickness and proper draft angle.
Although there are many design limitations. I still try to maximize the details, and perfect proportion and reach my ideal aesthetics looking.
